Tigress found dead in UP's Lakhimpur Kheri

The carcass of a tigress was found floating in the Sharda canal here Wednesday, a forest official said. The animal was around three to four-years-old and had no injury marks on her body. All her organs were intact as well, Divisional forest officer (DFO) Sameer Kumar said.
"A panel of doctors has been formed to carry out post mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death," he added. The canal is situated in Bijhauli bridge in Phardhan area under the south Kheri forest division, the forest official said.
