8 IPS, 61 PPS officers transferred in Punjab

Eight IPS officers and 61 PPS officers were transferred in Punjab this evening.

Among the IPS officers, Surjit Singh has been posted as AIG Law and Order while Harcharan Singh Bhullar has been given the charge of Commandant 3rd Commando, Mohali, according to an official spokesman.

D H Nimbale has been posted as AIG Counter Intelligence, Mohali, while Surendra Lamba has been given the charge of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police –II, Ludhiana Commissioner Tate.

Kanwardeep Kaur and Deepak Parekh got the charge of Assistant Commandant, 36 Battalion, PAP, Patiala, and ADCP, Ludhiana headquarters, respectively.

Sachin Gupta and Varun Sharma have been given the posting of ADCP Jalandhar and SP Investigation Mohali respectively.

Among the PPS officers who have been shifted are Rashpal Singh, Paramabir Singh Parmar, Rajinder Singh and Sandeep Kumar.
