Bitmain plans new blockchain data center in Texas

The initial phase is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2019.

Bitcoin mining firm Bitmain announces plans to build new blockchain data center in Texas.  As a part of its expansion into the US market, firm plans to build USD 500 million blockchain data center and mining facility in Texas.

The initial phase is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2019. Bitmain thinking of expanding their territory to North America, Rockdale data center to be the main part of the plan for expansion in North America.

Jeff Stearns, executive vice president and director of operations for Bitmain’s North America division said, “Bitmain is truly honored to announce this news and is excited to work with local partners, government and stakeholders in realizing this vision, throughout the initial set-up phase, operations and beyond.”
