TSG's football school to officially open in Mumbai on Aug 16
TSG co-founder Prasad Kothari today told reporters that the school would be officially opened on August 16. TSG co-founder Jay Shah, founder of EBSM Eric Benny and football coaches were present on the occasion.
Shah said that the school would initially operate in three centers Santacruz, Wadala, and Chandivali. Once the final selection and scouting are done, we have plans to hold our training programmes in 15 centers from Colaba to suburban Kandivali, added Shah. Benny said, "Our objective is very simple as we want to create a pyramid and would work with about 1000 children as we want to create an opportunity for many children and then work with the best of the best."
"We have designed special training programmes that will help us empower youth to accelerate their football career. The objective is to provide the best football training and help educate coaches as well as to consult and mentor the youth of the nation," Benny added.
