The Indonesian government is trying to provide basic amenities to the victims of the Lombok quake.

Social Affairs Ministry, Idrus Marham revealed about the emergency response period and that the government is serving the affected people. The ministry recently set up a public kitchen and distributed the groceries.

During the recovery period, the government will try to improve public facilities and will also focus on providing rehabilitation to the common people left homeless by the earthquake.

Idrus Marham after the Indonesian Prosperous Family Achievement event said: "All homes affected by the earthquake in Lombok will be rehabilitated and some will be rebuilt. Severely damaged homes will be getting a donation of IDR 50 million, medium-damaged homes of IDR 25 million and light-damaged homes of IDR 10 million."

She further added: "We also provide psychosocial service for people affected by the Lombok quake. the psychosocial service is provided by the Disaster Preparedness Cadets (Tagana) and Indonesian Child Protection Institutions (LPAI)."

Head of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Information and Public Relations Center Sutopo Purwo Nugroho referring to the different occasions revealed about the damage caused by the earthquake. It included 67,875 homes, 606 schools, 6 bridges, 3 hospitals, 10 health centers, 15 mosques, 50 small mosques, and 20 offices.
