Jubilee Syringe Manufacturing to invest in Nigerian syringe industry
JSM product progress ground in the international market due to its perfect quality, noting that the Akwa Ibom syringe has exported to Sierra-Leone, Cotonou, Benin, Republic and China.
Jubilee Syringe Manufacturing (JSM) Company wants to invest in Nigeria in syringe industry to increase its economy nearby 50 percent if the Federal Government approves the medical devices industry policy to develop the sector.
The syringe industry wants to increase ability and nation's economy.
Zubeyir Gulabi, Managing Director of JSM Company and Chairman of Syringe and Needle Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (SNMAN) stated that after a visit to JSM in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria has eight syringe factories, which he stated as large and sustainable investment.
He stated that one factory was around USD 25 million, and another eight factories were around over USD 200 million, stressed that eight factories could endow direct employment to fewer than 2,000 people with a multiplier effect on 2,000 families.
Gulabi said, “This sector is very strategic and very good for sustainable development. It can ensure national security, create thousands of jobs and tackle youth restiveness, among others."
Gulabi also stated "We took the sample last year to the European Medical Trade Fair, one German company wanted to partner with us because of the quality, they could not believe that this is a product made in Nigeria. The quality is good".
