Kim Jong Un underlined the need for DPRK, US to take practical measures to follow through on issues discussed at Singapore Summit and Joint statement at an early stage.

Kim Jong Un says urgent for DPRK and US to make bold decision to halt irritating and hostile military actions against each other.

He further added, in Tuesday's expanded meeting that DPRK and US should commit to avoid antagonizing each other and take legal, institutional steps to guarantee it.

North Korea official state news agency says the summit was significant in making 'a radical switchover in the most hostile DPRK-US relations, as required by the developing times'.

Earlier reported that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un today promised to leave the past behind and work toward "complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula" in return for security guarantees from US President Donald Trump as they signed a joint statement wrapping up their historic summit here.
