The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) are joining forces to advance aviation safety through global leadership at the 2018 International Aviation Safety Conference in Washington, D.C., June 19-21, 2018.
FAA and EASA look forward to teaming with international colleagues to ensure seamless and safe air transport worldwide through shared commitment, clear communication and collaboration, and harmonized safety standards, policy and procedures.
Government and Industry aviation safety professionals will be sharing technologies, procedures, ideas and safety data to: better identify and manage risk; enhance harmonization and global interoperability; strengthen aviation infrastructure; and improve safety oversight capability worldwide.
Industry leaders will engage in important conversations on topics including initiatives and best practices for reducing accident risk through improved technology, and safety data and analysis, testing, training and certification.
