Members of the group of G20 countries "have to get out of the coal" to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and fight against climate change, while natural gas can be a bridge fuel, Director of Energy Policy of Germany, Thorsten Herdan, on Friday said.
At a press conference at the closing of the meeting of the G20 energy ministers in Bariloche, Argentina, Herdan said he expects competition between natural gas by gas pipeline and liquefied natural gas (LNG) to boost market liquidity and generate a drop in prices.
