Indian Railways' recruitment rush, announces more than 90,000 vacancies
With just one day remaining for the job application, the Ministry of Railways has had close to 2.5 crore jobs applications. This recruitment drive is expected to be the largest and reflects towards the paucity of jobs in India.

As promised, the Indian Railways announced close to 1,10,000 job in what is considered as world’s biggest rail network. Increasing the earlier vacancies from 90,000 to 1,10,000, additional ten thousand jobs will be created in the L-1 and L-2 categories.
The maximum vacancies are for ALP, known as Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician grade according to Ved Prakash DG, Railway Board. The details and application form for the same are available at Indian Railways official website www.indianrailways.gov.in/railwayboard
The exam will be held online for Group C and Group D, with 9,500 vacancies in Railways Protection Force. The notification for the additional 9,500 jobs would be out in May and expected to have huge number applications.
