Workshop on OAA project on 21st Century Skills Assessment

The 11 Member states involved are Democratic Republic of Congo, Chad, Côte d'Ivoire, Gambia, Kenya, Lesotho, Mali, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Tanzania, and Zambia.

This workshop is organized by TALENT (Teaching and Learning - Educators' Network for Transformation) which is a network coordinated by UNESCO, in collaboration with Brookings Institution and Global Partnership for Education.

The workshop is the first activity of a six-month study that aims to identify existing assessment tools that are related to 21st-century skills.

During this period, the countries will participate in a data-gathering activity to identify and provide examples of national and classroom-based tests or test items that could be interpreted as directly or indirectly capturing 21st-century skills.
