Monzo Bank, a digital, mobile-only bank based in the United Kingdom has added Apple Pay to its banking services. The announcement was made via the bank's blog and it also apologised for the delay.

"Apple Pay has been by far the most requested feature over the last few months, and we’re glad that it’s finally here. Apple Pay is an easier, safer way to pay in stores, in apps and online, with the Apple devices you use every day," the blog stated.

The bank blog states "Open your Monzo app this morning and you’ll see the option to add Monzo to your Wallet. Just follow the instructions! If you don’t want to set it up straight away, you can go to the Account tab in your app at any time and tap settings to see the option to add Monzo to your Wallet."

To use Apple Pay, customers just need to add their card to the wallet, or from the Monzo app, and can then proceed for the payment. To make Monzo the default way to pay, customers just need to drag their card to the front of their wallet.

On its blog, the bank informed that all the information regarding its working has been provided in the Apple Pay page.
