Soybean prices went up by Rs 22 to Rs 3,393 per quintal in futures trade today as traders enhanced their exposure on the back of positive global cues.
Marketmen said, following the rising prices overseas, speculators enlarged holdings, which supported the uptrend in soybean futures prices.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean delivery for November advanced by Rs 22, or 0.65 percent, to Rs 3,393 per quintal, with a business turnover of 20,060 open lots.
Also, the delivery for October looked up by Rs 16, or 0.47 percent, to Rs 3,408 per quintal, revealing an open interest of 57,180 lots.
