"Game of Thrones" star Richard Madden has said that he despises being called a "hunk" as it shifts people's focus from his acting to his looks.
The 32-year-old actor told The Daily Star that the tag undermines him as an actor.
"I worry about it affecting my job. If people go, 'Oh, you know, he's that hunky thing', that undermines that actually, I am an actor," Madden said.
The actor also revealed his plans of buying a piece of land, so as to escape the stardom he started enjoying after starring in the hit HBO show.
"My aim is to buy a little place on the west coast to escape. It's so gorgeous. I am also my happiest up there. It would be so quiet too," Madden said.
The actor played Rob Stark, eldest child of Eddard Stark, the lord of Winterfell, who is assassinated at the Red Wedding by the House Frey in the third season of "GOT".
The eighth and final season of the show premieres next year.
