Baaah! TV gardener Titchmarsh leads London Bridge sheep drive
British television gardener Alan Titchmarsh and men dressed in medieval costumes drove a flock of sheep across London Bridge on Sunday as part of a centuries-old tradition. Titchmarsh kicked off the annual sheep drive, which sees freemen of the City of London, the small area which now makes up the city's financial district, exercise their ancient right to drive the animals over the bridge to raise money for charity.
L'Oreal looks to make a splash on the Seine
Boat traffic on the Seine came to a standstill on Sunday to make way for a floating runway featuring movies stars and models in an extravaganza orchestrated by cosmetics company L'Oreal to coincide with Paris Fashion Week. Luxury clothing brands from Chanel to Kering's Gucci have for years picked increasingly elaborate settings to present their collections, and now beauty firms are getting in on the act.
