Chris Evans takes jibe at Kanye West for comments on anti-slavery amendment

Hollywood star Chris Evans has called out Kanye West after the rapper suggested that the US should abolish the 13th amendment, which outlaws slavery.
Kanye, who recently changed his name to 'Ye', posted a photo of him in a 'Make America Great Again' baseball cap with the caption, "this represents good and America becoming whole again. We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs. We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment."
In an angry to response to the 41-year-old rapper's post, Evans tweeted, "There's nothing more maddening than debating someone who doesn't know history, doesn't read books, and frames their myopia as virtue.
"The level of unapologetic conjecture I've encountered lately isn't just frustrating, it's retrogressive, unprecedented and absolutely terrifying."
Earlier this year, West caused controversy when he claimed in an interview that 400 years of slavery ''sounds like a choice''.
