Police arrests 4 for possessing illicit liquor on dry day in Jammu and Kashmir

Four people were arrested for allegedly possessing illicit liquor in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district on Tuesday, police said.
A police team arrested Surinder Singh and Raman Singh from Rajpura and Gagwal belts and recovered 115 and 50 bottles of illicit liquor respectively, a police officer said.
Another person, Deepak Kumar, was held from a railway station in Bari Brahmana town and as many as 449 bottles of country-made whisky were recovered., the officer said.
In Samba town, Vijay Kumar was arrested with 51 bottles of illicit liquor, the officer added.
Cases have been registered in all the incidents, police said.
