The NFL will not suspend New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson for multiple arrests over the past two years, a league spokesman confirmed Wednesday.

"All along I wasn't expecting it to happen," Anderson told reporters after practice Wednesday. "I'm just thankful that God blessed me to get through this situation and I'm still able to miss no time with my teammates."

Anderson pleaded no contest in June to charges of reckless driving that stemmed from a Jan. 19 arrests. He was sentenced to six months of probation. Anderson was pulled over after he was clocked driving 105 mph in a 45 mph zone in Sunrise, Fla.

In May 2017, Anderson was arrested after allegedly pushing a police officer at a music festival in Miami, but the charge was later dropped.

Players who are arrested face potential NFL discipline, including suspensions and fines, under the league's personal conduct policy. Though he was not suspended, Anderson was fined an undisclosed amount by the league.

Anderson, 25, is in his third season with the Jets. He has eight catches for 108 yards and one touchdown in four games this year.
