Summer Youth Olympic Games: Google celebrates with Doodle

One thing more special about this event is that it's the first Summer Youth Olympic taking place out of Asia.

Sports events are special as they fill a new spirit of life in everyone, but what's special about 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, which is commonly known as Buenos Aires 2018. This Olympics involve a range of international sports, cultural and educational events which will be hosted by Argentina between 6 and 18 October.

One thing more special about this event is that it's the first Summer Youth Olympic taking place out of Asia.

The official emblem for this event was proposed three years ago in 2015 which reflected the diversity of Buenos Aires, inspired by the city's culture and architecture.

A survey was conducted to check public support for the event to be hosted in Buenos Aires which reached 82.3 per cent in favour.

In the anticipation of the Opening Ceremony of the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, many new athletes are in heavy training to make a good debut in the competition. 

Youth Olympic Games will feature three new medal sports: karate and climbing, also already admitted to the Tokyo Games 2020, and breakdance.
