PM Modi wants to strengthen bilateral cooperation with Canada

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday stressed on the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation between India and Canada in diverse spheres.
He made these remarks when Canada's leader of the opposition Andrew Scheer called on him here.
"Happy to meet Hon. @AndrewScheer, Canada's Leader of the Opposition. Stressed the significance of strong India-Canada relations ... ," Modi tweeted.
According to an official statement, the PM noted that the relationship between the two countries was elevated to the strategic partnership during his visit to Canada in 2015.
Modi also stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in diverse spheres.
Scheer shared his perspective on further developing friendly relations between the two countries.
Scheer is in India from October 7 to 13.
