ICAI contributes INR 70 lakh for Kerala flood victims
In the month of Aug 2018, the floods in the state of Kerala caused extensive devastation and a large number of people lost their lives and thousands were rendered homeless.

In the month of Aug 2018, the floods in the state of Kerala caused extensive devastation and a large number of people lost their lives and thousands were rendered homeless. To provide relief to the affected flood victims in Kerala and support them in time of crisis, ICAI took the initiative and appealed to its members and employees to contribute generously towards Kerala relief fund. ICAI as a partner to the nation since last 70 years and considering it as a part of its societal responsibility, contributed Rs.70 lac for Kerala flood victims.
CA. Naveen ND Gupta, President, ICAI today handed over a cheque of Rs.70 lakh to Shri Arun Jaitley, Hon'ble Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs in the presence of CA. Piyush Goyal, Hon'ble Minister of Railway and Coal as a contribution of ICAI to the 'Prime Minister National Relief Fund '.
