Google Doodle celebrates Professor Dr. Rawee Pawilai’s 93rd Birthday
Thai Astronomical Society also welcomed Dr Pawilai as president.

Solar radiation is a broad term and some may consider it as rocket science but people like Professor Dr Rawee Pawilai found their calling age at 19.
After joining Chulalongkorn University in Thailand in the Astronomy Department he was soon known for his extraordinary research over radiations and solar layer this led him to become county's most renowned astronomer.
Thai Astronomical Society also welcomed Dr Pawilai as president. Not only this great astronomer was fond of science but also of literature which led him to write 21 books in almost all genres. The great astronomer received the title of Thailand's National Artist for the extraordinary work he had done with his literary skills.
Today Google Doodle of Dr Pawilai shows the legend sitting and reading the book with children in the background following his image.
