Outfielder Yasiel Puig has been reinstated from the 10-day disabled list by the Los Angeles Dodgers, the team announced Saturday.

In a corresponding move, outfielder Alex Verdugo was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Puig, 27, went on the DL on July 8 and missed 15 games with a right oblique strain. He has played in 76 games for the Dodgers, who lead the National League West by 1 1/2 games entering play Saturday. He is batting .265 with 11 home runs, 35 RBIs and seven stolen bases.
