The maximum temperatures hovered around normal levels in most parts of Punjab and Haryana today.

In Haryana, Ambala, Bhiwani, Hisar, Karnal, and Narnaul recorded maximum temperatures of 34.7, 37.4, 37.4, 34 and 35.3 degrees Celsius, respectively.

In Punjab, Amritsar recorded a high of 34.8 degrees Celsius while Ludhiana and Patiala recorded maximum temperatures of 34.9 and 35.2 degrees Celsius, respectively.

The MeT Department has predicted rain or thundershowers at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab over the next two days.
