Coriander and jeera prices declined by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital today on easing demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks.
Besides, a weakening trend in the futures market and increased arrivals from producing regions pressurized the prices of select spices.
Coriander prices drifted lower by Rs 100 to finish at Rs 5,900-12,100 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also eased by Rs 100 each to settle at Rs 20,000-20,200 and Rs 22,700-23,200 per quintal, respectively.
Marketmen said, a fall in demand from retailers and stockists against adequate stocks mainly pulled down coriander and jeera prices.
