Government declares Six Laning of Bangalore-Mysore section

The work for widening to two lanes with paved shoulders of Kottigehara-Modigere road stretch has also been awarded in May 2018.

Government declares Six Laning of Bangalore-Mysore section

The Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Shipping and Chemical & Fertilizers Shri Mansukh L Mandaviya in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha today informed that the work for 6-laning of Bangalore-Nidagatta-Mysore road stretch has been awarded in two packages in February 2018.

The work for widening to two lanes with paved shoulders of Kottigehara-Modigere road stretch has also been awarded in May 2018.

The scheduled completion time for 6-laning of Bangalore-Nidagatta-Mysore road stretch is 30 months from the appointed date and 18 months for widening to two lanes with paved shoulders of Kottigehara-Modigere road stretch from the appointed date.
