LRMC launches campaign to revamp Manila tourism

The LRMC has not yet given further details on the project but feels “ ikotMNL” is a walking tour around the LRT-1 stations, promoting ecological, food, cultural and historical tourism in the area.

The Light Rail Manila Corp launched " ikotMNL" campaign which aims to revamp and revive Manila tourist attractions with the help for the Department of Tourism.

Juan Alfonso, president, and CEO of the LRMC, said " ikotMNL" is their way of helping the government in rediscovering Manila through the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1)

The LRMC has not yet given further details on the project but feels " ikotMNL" is a walking tour around the LRT-1 stations, promoting ecological, food, cultural and historical tourism in the area.

Alfonso highlighted the fact that LRT-1 is the best mode of transportation for domestic and foreign tourists to discover the beauty of Manila.

DOT Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, who attended the launching tat the LRT-1's Central Station in Manila.
