Carolina Panthers cornerback Ross Cockrell, who signed with the team in the offseason, was carted off the practice field Monday morning with an apparent injury to his left leg, according to a report.

The Charlotte Observer reported that Cockrell and wide receiver Torrey Smith collided in the end zone. Cockrell then was heard yelling, "My leg is broke."
