The Pittsburgh Pirates acquired right-hander Chris Archer from the Tampa Bay Rays before Tuesday's non-waiver trade deadline, according to multiple reports.

Per reports, Pittsburgh will send outfielder Austin Meadows and right-hander Tyler Glasnow to Tampa Bay. Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reported a third piece of the return is still being decided.

Archer, 29, has three years and $24 million remaining on his contract after this season, with the final two years being club options worth $8.25 million apiece.

The two-time All-Star is 3-5 with a 4.31 ERA in 17 starts this season, which would mark his third straight season with an increase in ERA since posting a 3.23 figure in 2015. Despite a career record of 54-68, Archer has an ERA of 3.69 in 177 starts across seven seasons in the majors.

Meadows, 23, is hitting .292 with five homers and 13 RBIs in 49 games this year, his first action in the majors since the Pirates took him ninth overall in the 2013 draft. He also played 42 games with Triple-A Indianapolis, batting .279 with two homers, 21 RBIs and 11 stolen bases.

Glasgow, who turns 25 next month, is 1-2 with a 4.34 ERA in 34 appearances, all in relief, this season, his first full campaign in the majors. A fifth-round pick by the Pirates in 2011, Glasgow had a 6.75 ERA in 22 big-league appearances entering this year.

The Rays also shipped off All-Star catcher Wilson Ramos -- whose contract expires after the season -- to the Philadelphia Phillies and acquired outfielder Tommy Pham from the St. Louis Cardinals before Tuesday's deadline. Tampa Bay also traded minor league lefty Hunter Schryver to the Chicago White Sox for international bonus money.
