World Vision International Ghana to review national child health policies

Ghana's national child health policy is soon going to be relocked by WVI-G ( World Vision International Ghana) in order to accelerate the efforts needed to achieve SDG-3.

The Sustainable Development Goal three ensures availability of health to all and promoting the well being of people of all age groups.

World Vision International Ghana's Health Nutrition and HIV/AIDS Specialist, Mr. Micah Ayo Olad said through the review the focus will be on stakeholder engagements so as to ensure effective collaboration and setting up an efficient framework for the planning of health programmes pertaining to child and mother health care.

The aim of the review is to secure sustainable funding to implement the health programmes needed to ensure a proper delivery of health services.

The forum member of the congregation and Hope Action Team were also called to discuss and to learn about the issues related to infant, child and maternal health care such as nutrition and HIV/AIDS

The CHAT was established by WVI-G. It is a collaborative venture of District Directorate of GHS (Ghana Health Services), the Local Council of Churches and Local Council of Muslims.
