Work started on Uzbekistan's first nuclear power plant project worth USD 11 bn

Russia and Uzbekistan started preliminary work on Friday on the Central Asian nation's first nuclear power plant project which Moscow estimates will cost $11 billion.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev symbolically marked the commencement of the project at a meeting in Uzbekistan on Friday.
