The theoretical physicist writes to the need of travelling to a new destination in search of a home.
Renowned Cosmologist Stephen Hawking latest book ‘Brief answers to the big questions’ has been out for the readers who have the curiosity to know the solar system. Hawking which passed on 14th March of this year has mentioned what can we as humans living on Earth expect in future.
Hawking’s touch plethora of things in his latest published book, his keen observation and experience of more than four decades have been summarised in the newly released book.
On Climate Change
Hawking’s mentioned the urgent need of the hour to solve climate change which has become a global challenge to different countries. He mentioned how the melting of ‘polar caps’ leading to an increase in the water level of the ocean, how deforestation is ending the lungs of our planet.
Leaving Earth in coming future
The theoretical physicist writes to the need of travelling to a new destination in search of a home. He writes that in coming future human race can be destroyed by any big asteroid which led the extinction of dinosaurs around 66 million years ago. Nuclear war-head present in the planet can end the human race in any time. He also blames increasing population which is threatening the resources of the earth, the main reason to search for a new home.
Time Travel and Artificial Intelligence
Time travel can’t be ruled out in the near future Hawking’s write in his book. Hawking wrote it will help us going to different planets and solar system in near hundreds of years or so. The highly optimistic scientist also calls the need for Artificial Intelligence (AI) as they will help human race and can outsmart our brilliant race.
Ruled out God’s believe in extra-terrestrial life form
Atheist by nature Hawking ruled out the very existence of God and called everything is driven by the rule of Science. He emphasized in search of a new life form as they will be as smart as Humans. Hawking believes that we need to find a new alien race before they do as they might overpower us.
The newly released book was launched on Tuesday in the west and is also out on Indian stores.
