The event will concentrate on smart energy solutions, photovoltaic, energy storage and renewable heating. Participants can avail the opportunity of visibility, networking, and value in the solar market of the country.

Solar Photovoltaic power of Pakistan has been estimated as 1600 GW which is 80 times greater than the current renewable energy scenario in Pakistan. Under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) many solar plants are installed, Pakistan has also the potential of electricity generation through biomass of with the capacity of 1500 MW.

According to the World Bank, Pakistan is the first country to benefit from the highly quality solar maps under the global initiative.

According to studies, the reliance of solar energy can prove to be effective when combating the current power calamities in Pakistan. Many countries have started adopting clean and renewable energy to which they have reduced their electricity crisis.

This is the time when Pakistan needs to adopt the trend of solar energy in order to overcome the energy deficit and increase its economic growth.
