Pelosi says committee heads will decide on Trump probes

U.S. House of Representatives Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi did not confirm whether Democrats would seek U.S. President Donald Trump's tax returns, which he has not released, saying such oversight decisions would be left up to congressional committee heads.

"I'm a big believer in the committee system, always have been. Our committees will make their decisions and make their recommendations to the (Democratic) Caucus," Pelosi told reporters. "But you can be sure of one thing: When we go down any of these paths, we'll know what we're doing and we'll do it right."
