Tuesday posted a net profit of Rs 246.28 crore in the

September quarter.

The company's net profit stood at Rs 52.79 crore in

the corresponding quarter of FY18, which is not comparable,

the firm said in a BSE filing.

Total income of the company stood at Rs 843.28 crore.


Indoco Remedies Q2 net loss at Rs 7.79 cr

* Pharma firm Indoco Remedies Tuesday registered a

standalone net loss of Rs 7.79 crore for the quarter ended

September, against a net profit of Rs 19.76 crore in the

corresponding quarter last fiscal.

Total income during the quarter under review stood at

Rs 235.96 crore, compared with Rs 287.15 crore in the year-ago

period, a company release said.


Krishnapatnam Railway gets Rs 125 crore from Sagarmala

* Krishnapatnam Railway Company Tuesday said it has

received an investment of Rs 125 crore from Sagarmala

Development Company for the development of the rail corridor

connecting Obulavaripalli and Krishnapatnam Port.

The initiative will connect Krishnapatnam Port on the

east coast with the network of Indian Railways at

Venkatachalam at one point and Obulavaripalli on the other.

Krishnapatnam Railway Company is a special purpose

vehicle joint venture by Rail Vikas Nigam for connecting 114

kms Obulavaripalli (Kadapa district) and Krishnapatnam

(Nellore) in Andhra Pradesh, with the total project cost

estimated at Rs 1,850 crore.


Reliance Foundation ties up with CENTA

* Reliance Foundation Tuesday said it has entered into a

multi-year partnership with private company Centre for Teacher

Accreditation (CENTA).

The CSR arm of the country's largest corporate will

look at promoting teaching and also become the principal

sponsor of a national competition for teachers organised by

Centa, an official statement said.
