Pelicans star Davis out at Wizards with strained hip
New Orleans Pelicans center Anthony Davis was not in the lineup for Saturday night's road game against the Washington Wizards.
Davis suffered a strained right hip in the third quarter Friday night against the New York Knicks. The five-time All-Star did return for the final three minutes of the game.
The seven-year veteran is averaging 27.0 points, 12.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 2.7 blocks per game this season.
