Vikings place S Sendejo on IR
The Minnesota Vikings placed starting strong safety Andrew Sendejo on injured reserve, the team announced Tuesday.
Sendejo injured his groin Oct. 7 in the Vikings' 23-21 win over Philadelphia and hasn't been on the field since.
The Vikings moved cornerback Craig James from the practice squad to the 53-man roster and signed cornerback Jalen Myrick to fill the practice squad spot.
Anthony Harris has settled into the starting spot in Sendejo's place.
Sendejo, 31, has been with the Vikings since 2011 after spending the 2010 season in Dallas. He has 371 tackles in 95 career games and is under contract with the Vikings through the 2019 season.
James was an undrafted free agent signed by the Vikings in May. He was released in final cuts in September and was signed to the practice squad six weeks ago.
