51st Annual meet of ADB will be held in Manila from 3-6 May
The ADB Annual Meeting will be attended by the finance and development ministers and central bank governors of the bank’s 67 member-economies, of which 48 are from the Asia-Pacific region.
The 51st Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) will be held in Manila from 3-6 May.
Theme for the Conference: "Linking People and Economies for Inclusive Development."
The meetings provide opportunities for member governments to interact with ADB staff, nongovernment organizations (NGOs), media, and representatives of observer countries, international organizations, academe and the private sector. ADB's annual meetings have become a premier forum for the discussion of economic and social development issues in Asia and the Pacific.
Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III, chairman of the ADB Board of Governors told, "Nearly 3,000 representatives from the bank's development partners, private sector and civil society organizations, media are expected to participate in the four-day event in Manila.
