The Green Bay Packers placed cornerback Kevin King on injured reserve with a hamstring injury Wednesday.
It's the second straight year the 2017 first-round pick will finish the season on injured reserve, after a shoulder issue bothered him as a rookie. King had sat out the last four games after missing time with a groin injury earlier this season. He has played in just 15 games through two seasons.
The Packers also placed running back Tra Carson (ribs) on injured reserve and claimed cornerback Natrell Jamerson (from the Houston Texans) and defensive lineman Fadol Brown (from the Oakland Raiders) off waivers.
Jamerson, who turns 23 on Dec. 15, was a fifth-round pick of the New Orleans Saints in April, but he failed to make the Week 1 roster and was claimed by the Texans in September. He played 78 defensive snaps in 10 games, totaling seven tackles and a pass defensed, before being waived Tuesday.
Carson, 26, played 83 of his 88 snaps this year on special teams.
