A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Tunisian Ministry and the Federal Ministry of Health, Sudan. The memorandum is about developing and upgrading health and medical system between two countries.
Bahr Idriss Abu Garda , the Federal Health Minister has confirmed the government interest and keenness towards medical and health cooperation between the two countries.
The minister echoed that the agreement is to develop national laboratories, developing human resource, and medical services between two countries while discussing regarding international issues and training of Sudanese health personnel in Tunisia in capacity building and the rehabilitation of cadres
He also briefed the Tunisian Minister regarding Sudan's health and medical issues and developments with regards to the strategies and plans in the health sector in the country.
The Tunisian Health Minister Imad Al-Hamami expresses government appreciation for Sudan' effort. He appreciated the success of Sudanese medical and health personnel and Sudan's initiatives in the region.
He said that they have come to Sudan to sign a number of agreements and protocols on medical and health care for the benefit of the people of the two brotherly countries.
