Nickel, zinc upbeat on industrial demand

New Delhi, Jun 21 (PTI) Select base metals, nickel and zinc traded higher at the non-ferrous metals market today on the back of increased demand from consuming industries.

Traders attributed the rise in nickel prices to increased demand from alloy-makers.

In the national capital, nickel plate (4x4) traded higher by Rs 6 to Rs 874-877 per kg.

Zinc ingot, too, traded higher by Rs 3 to Rs 137-143 per kg.

Zinc ingot Rs 137-143, nickel plate (4x4) Rs 874-877, gun metal scrap Rs 227, bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 431, chadri deshi Rs 295.
