A woman from Texas spotted an alligator with a knife in its head in Texas Lake in the morning here on Friday. It has been learnt that the Gator skulls are made of heavy, thick bone, too, so potential attackers have only a "very small target" to do serious damage. Otherwise, objects will get lodged in its skull rather than its brain, maiming but not killing the creature. The women named Erin Weaver has been living in that locality from six years and spots alligators in the lake every day. But today she saw this unusual alligator with knives in its head and clicked the picture which is now trending on social media.
The neighbourhood in the locality has called for help as according to them this is a brutal act done by someone. "I don't want to see an alligator swimming around with a knife in his head and suffering," said Weaver.
According to Weaver, a Texas Parks and Wildlife game warden is expected to evaluate the alligator on Monday.
