John Travolta joined Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters on stage and it was a moment in time when the Hollywood veteran surprised the fans by shaking a leg on the classic from "Grease", "You're The One That I Want".

During a gig in New York, Travolta turned up on the stage and took the crowd by storm while Grohl performed the song and brought out his famous dance moves for the key line: "It's electrifying!"

The band shared a video of the iconic moment on their official Twitter page and captioned it: "WE'VE GOT CHILLS NY!! #JohnTravolta YETI."

Fans in the audience also made videos from the gig, which revealed that the star did not stay on the stage for a long time.

This is not the first time Travolta has performed the song onstage with Foo Fighters. They earlier surprised an audience in Florida with an appearance during the same song.

The actor has also performed on stage with 50 Cent at Cannes Film Festival in May.
