Elsewhere, refined palmolein also eased due to sluggish demand from retail buyers.
While, groundnut oil and linseed oil ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the non-edibles segment, castor seed bold declined by Rs 15 per 100 kg to Rs 4,430 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 4,445 and castor oil commercial edged down by Rs 3 per 10 kg.
Linseed oil ended unaltered to Rs 880 per 10 kg. Moving to the edible section, refined palmolein prices went marginally down by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 680 from Rs 682 and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 865 per 10 kg.
