ANER hands solar suitcases to vocational training schools
Solar facilities were made available to beneficiary institutions by the National Renewable Energy Agency (ANER) during a ceremony.
A total of eleven solar suitcases for educational use were handed out Thursday to public vocational training institutions as part of the capacity building of residents of schools in Senegal, said the APS.
These solar facilities were made available to beneficiary institutions by the National Renewable Energy Agency (ANER) during a ceremony organized in a hotel in Dakar.
"These suitcases for educational use will strengthen the training capacity of schools while promoting renewable energy to students," said Djiby Ndiaye, director of ANER at the ceremony.
According to him, the strengthening of human capital will promote the economic and social integration of human resources and will support sustainable growth.
"Quality infrastructure with modern equipment will be particularly important to hope for quality education," he said.
He invited the managers of the beneficiary structures of this solar didactic equipment to work for their optimal use to ensure their sustainability.
