Colorado pinch-hitter Raimel Tapia hit his first career grand slam to cap a six-run seventh inning and Nolan Arenado hit his 24th and 25th homers to move into a tie for the NL lead in the Rockies' 11-10 victory over the host Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field on Friday.

Carlos Gonzalez singled in the first run of the seventh off Archie Bradley (2-2), who walked in another run with two outs before Tapia hit his first homer of the year. Bradley, who gave up six runs on three hits and three walks, had given up only 10 earned runs all season in a bullpen that leads the NL with a 2.85 ERA.

Arenado had two-run homers in the first and fifth innings for the Rockies, who have won 14 of their last 17 to get within one-half game of Arizona for second place in the NL West.

A.J. Pollock set a career-high with five hits and scored three runs, Ketel Marte had a career-high four RBIs and David Peralta had four hits and scored three runs for Arizona, which has lost 11 of 17.

Scott Oberg (5-0) pitched two-thirds of an inning for the victory and Adam Ottavino worked around his error and an Alex Avila sacrifice fly in the ninth for a four-out save. Closer Wade Davis was ill and unavailable.

The scoring began early, as usual, when Arenado followed Charlie Blackmon's single with a homer. Colorado leads the majors with runs scored (80) and runs given up (82) in the first inning.

Peralta singled to open the last of the first before Pollock singled an out later. Jake Lamb walked with two outs and Marte followed with a two-run single to right-center to put runners on the corners. Lamb scored on a passed ball to make it 3-2.

Pollock singled and Steven Souza Jr. walked with one out in the third inning, when Arizona took a 5-2 lead. Lamb singled in Pollock for the first run. Souza took third on the hit and scored when Rockies first baseman Ian Desmond bobbled Marte's grounder and had only one play at first.

Colorado starter German Marquez, who entered the game hitting .324, drove in Desmond with his second single of the game in the fourth inning to make it 5-3. Marquez gave up eight hits and six runs (five earned) in five innings. He struck out six and walked three.

Arenado's second two-run homer, just over the fence near the right-field foul pole, tied it at 5 in the top of the fifth inning.

Marte tripled in the tie-breaking run for a 6-5 lead in the bottom of the fifth, and pinch-hitter Chris Owings singled, took second on a wild pitch, stole third and scored on a throwing error by catcher Troy Wolters when no one covered third to make it 7-5. Peralta followed with a single before Pollock doubled for an 8-5 edge.

Arizona starter Robbie Ray gave up eight hits, including both Arenado homers, and five runs in 5 1/3 innings, with two strikeouts and one walk.
