A private bus carrying students from a private school overturned near a village in Greater Noida on Wednesday, resulting in minor injuries for several children, police reported.
Additional DCP (Greater Noida) Ashok Kumar stated that the incident occurred near Falaida village in the Rabupura police station area.
'The accident happened as the bus was traveling from Falaida to Karoli Bangar. Shortly after leaving Falaida, one of the bus's wheels got stuck in soft, wet soil, causing it to lose balance and overturn,' Kumar explained.
The school management and police promptly responded to the scene. While most children on the bus sustained minor injuries, one student from Nagla Kanchan-Bari Karoli suffered a head injury and was taken to the hospital for treatment with family members present, according to officials.
