At least four coaches of the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express train derailed in the Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, according to officials.
The district administration has not yet confirmed whether there are any casualties.
Police reported that the derailment occurred between Motiganj and Jhilahi railway stations. Senior railway and local administration officials are currently at the location, supervising the ongoing rescue operations.
