Russia has rolled out anti-terrorism measures in three regions bordering Ukraine—Kursk, Belgorod, and Bryansk, according to Russian officials.
The measures, which come amid ongoing tensions, include the possible displacement of residents, limitations on transport activities, increased security around key sites, and wire tapping of communications.
Regional governors and the National Anti-terrorism Committee were cited as the sources for these stringent steps, which aim to counter any Ukrainian incursions as claimed by Moscow.
