Yathiraj, shone brightly at the 102nd Birth anniversary celebrations of Dr Stya Paul, virtually held recently, where Shri Yathiraj was the Chief Guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, President, Apeejay Stya Group and Svran Group and daughter and only child of Dr Stya Paul said, "We all know what Dr Stya Paul's achievements in life were. But it is the values, it is the indomitable spirit, determination, resilience, never giving up, and striving for excellence in every area of life that truly determined the soul that he was." Highlighting Dr Stya Paul's life journey, Mrs Berlia said, "We all know, he got polio at a very young age. Despite the fact that he went through most of his childhood and youth, walking with the help of crutches, and belonged to a very humble background, he rose above all challenges." She added that a lesson that we can learn from Dr Stya Paul's life is that each one has the potential within us to become the grandest versions of who we are. Applauding Shri Suhas L. Yathiraj for his stupendous achievements, Mrs Berlia said, "Despite the kind of challenges that you faced, you are leading in every way possible and giving your best. The dedication, the determination that you have put in into everything that you have been doing for the last few years is indeed inspiring. You have shown that it is not necessary to only focus on academics but what matters is the dedication and determination to make the most of the God-given potential." Hailing Dr Stya Paul as a National Educational Policy (NEP) visionary, Mrs Berlia said, "In all of what Dr Stya Paul did, one thing that stood out was his vision and mission to have educational institutions that help develop every dimension of a child. The new National Education Policy that has now come out is fundamentally, in a way encapsulating a lot of vision and mission that Dr Stya Paul put into place when he talked about the kind of education that we need in modern India. We are delighted that after so many years his vision and mission have found a place in the vision and mission of the entire country." The grand finale of the event was a scintillating virtual concert by Shri Hariharan that included a series of popular numbers sung by the acclaimed musician. As a token of their appreciation, the musical virtuoso was felicitated by Dr Stya Paul's son-in-law, Mr Vijay Berlia, grandsons – Mr Nishant and Aditya Berlia and granddaughter Dr. Neha Berlia.
